It's completely free to join Hakim. We only make money when you do. We charge a 15% platform fee on each completed consultation. There are no monthly fees, no setup costs, and no hidden charges.
Patients pay for consultations through Chapa or Telebirr. Your earnings are automatically transferred to your linked bank account weekly. We deduct our 15% platform fee and transfer the remaining 85% to you.
Yes! You have complete control over your consultation fees. Set different rates for initial consultations, follow-ups, or specialty services. Most providers charge between 300-800 ETB per consultation.
You control your schedule completely. You can adjust availability, cancel appointments, or reschedule with patients directly through the platform. We recommend giving patients 24-hour notice when possible.
Yes. Hakim uses HIPAA-level security with end-to-end encryption for all communications. Video calls are encrypted, medical records are secure, and we maintain comprehensive audit logs for compliance.
Medical license verification typically takes 24-48 hours during business days. Once verified, you can start seeing patients immediately. We'll notify you via email and SMS when your account is approved.
